myPOS is rolling out Virtual Terminal – the quickest way to process MO/TO payments online

Seeing a growing number of MO/TO transactions through the myPOS devices and increasing interest from our merchants, we are rolling out a brand new myPOS feature - Virtual Terminal.

With myPOS Virtual Terminal our merchants are empowered to accept credit and debit card payment orders over the phone or by email and manually process them online. Unlike the common MO/TO payments made through the POS terminals, the Virtual Terminal allows you to process payments through a secure hosted myPOS web page from your myPOS account, without the need of a present physical device.

Cost-effective and convenient, the Virtual Terminal is a solution suitable for any payment occasion when the customer is not present. It’s widely used by businesses in the hotel and the leisure industry as well as small home-based companies or merchants who are travelling a lot.

As with all payments made through myPOS, the funds from MO/TO transactions are settled in your myPOS account immediately and you can use them straight away.

One more piece of good news! To start using myPOS Virtual Terminal, there is no need of any additional software or complicated integrations. Virtual Terminal is accessible directly from your myPOS online account and works across any device with Internet connection.

If we judge the year by its start, 2017 prove to be a year full of exciting events for myPOS. After our success at MWC 2017, we had the pleasure to visit another industry event, which was held in Birmingham, United Kingdom on the 5th and 6th of April 2017.

IRX (Internet Retailing Expo) and EDX (eDelivery Expo) were co-located at the NEC in Birmingham bringing together more than 5,000 visitors, 300 exhibitors and over 90 speakers. We all came to the NEC with one single goal – to unveil the future of the retail nation and showcase the leading technologies and products in the multichannel retailing.

At myPOS, we were excited to be exhibiting at the IRX’s venue to reveal our online solutions and demonstrate how they help businesses overcome the challenges of multichannel retailing and pave their way to cross-border expansion.

Lisbon hosts Web Summit and myPOS Team will be attending

Web Summit is an international technology conference, founded in 2009 and organized in Dublin for the first 5 years. This year, it will take place in MEO Arena in Lisbon, Portugal. The event is considered to be one of the largest in Europe, of its nature. Representatives of big companies from all over the world, join Web Summit to meet up and talk about the future of the global technology industry. The conference continues three days, from the 7th to the 10th of November, and more than 50,000 people are signed up for attendance. 663 speakers will participate, with different areas of expertise, life and work experience.

This is yet another great opportunity for our Sales team, to introduce myPOS to а large audience and familiarize them with important benefits of the platform. Our respected partners from Heights Payments showcased myPOS, at this year's Taxi Expo in Houten, together with Cabman. Cabman is a well-known company in Netherlands, which develops software and vehicle equipment for the Taxi industry. The exhibition took place on the 12th and 13th of October and brought together owners and employees of Taxi companies, along with big names in the car-manufacturing industry, peripheral devices and supporting software.

During the Taxi Expo 2016, myPOS was presented as the major platform, which enables card payment acceptance. The international Arena of Beauty Professional fair, held annually in Sofia, opened its doors on the 21st of October. This year was the 15th birthday of the event, it lasted three days and gathered 77 exhibitors from the Beauty, Health & Spa industry. Every year during the fair, exhibitors, franchise owners, producers & importers of health and cosmetic products, have the chance to promote their products or establishments. It also creates favourable circumstances for business cooperation between the attendants.
